The piece was cast in Thailand, and likely depicts Luang Pu Sodh, the founder of the Dhammakaya method of meditation. The piece is finely cast, and dates to the 1920s or 30s. This sculpture is rare, and would make a nice addition to most collectors. There is a prayer engraved into three of the four sides. It measures 15" tall and 4.5" wide. The bronze is in excellent condition, free of dents, dings, or restorations. There is some wear to the patina, age-appropriate.
