H and carved pair of seated Buddhist monks with polychrome and gilded accents from the early 20th century. Early 19th century, both figures with all over red-brown lacquer and gilt, the borders of their robes decorated with glass inlays. With its spiritual subject, and lovely aged patina, this Thai seat monk sculpture circa 1900 will bring a thoughtful touch of serenity to any home.
