Borobudur Temple, 3-D Silver Filigree Sculpture, Handcrafted, Framed, Original Box, 10"x14", Indonesia Object: This auction is for a stunning silver-filigree replica of the Borobudur Temple in Java, Indonesia. It was handcrafted at Borobudur Silver & Crafts in Yogyakarta by silversmiths using traditional silversmithing methods. Thin copper threads were 925 silver-plated and then hand sculpted into the shape of this ancient Buddhist temple. Silver script beneath the sculpture reads, "Borobudur Temple, Indonesia." A metal plaque mounted on the glass reads, "With Compliment, Telkom Indonesia." Item comes framed in a black wooden frame with glass and in the original fabric covered box. The back of the frame has a pull-out stand for tabletop display and there is also an attached hook for wall display. Condition: Item is in very good pre-owned vintage condition and comes in the original fabric covered box. The sculpture and plaques have been protected under glass. Sculpture may have some very minor tarnishing. The black frame has some surface wear. The fabric covering on the box has no rips, tears, odors or corner wear. The cardboard bottom shows wear and age, and the top is very slightly bowed from storage. Please see photos. Item comes as found and as is.
