Today I am offering this fabulous vintage metal figure. It is richly detailed heavy, solid metal. I'm not sure if it is brass or bronze. It measures approximately 6¼" high, 3½" wide from side to side across the front, and about 2½" deep from front to back. It appears to be made from some type of bronze or brass metal alloy. However I am not certain how to distinguish between the two. My best guess is time-aged brass. This brass sculpture depicts the Tibetan Buddhist God Medicine Buddha, also known as Bhaisajyaguru. His robe, adorned with scenes from the life of Shakyamuni Buddha, represents his healing and compassionate nature. Medicine Buddha imparts the Abhaya mudra, signifying fearlessness and protection. His presence serves as a reminder of the power of healing, both physical and spiritual. It symbolizes the path to inner peace, enlightenment, and the importance of compassion in the journey towards wellness. It is in very good vintage pre-owned condition with no breaks, bends, or repairs. It has a naturally aged patina. I can't find any damage on it.
